All or Nothing kinda girl...

I have been struggling recently to find balance.  This is something  that I have always struggled with. My dear hubby calls it OCD, but I'm really just an all or nothing kind of girl. Most people have more on our plate than we can handle and dreams of so much more.

I love to read and when I start a book that is part of a series, he knows that I won't do anything else productive until the series is done.  When I break out my sewing machine, you can bet there will be fabric spread from one end of the house to the other. Right now, I am completely addicted to working out.  I got a new gadget for my birthday called the FitBit which helps me track my activity and daily, I'm syncing that baby up and trying to beat yesterday's activities! I can see where he might see it as OCD, I simply say there are too many things that I enjoy.  On top of those things that I enjoy are the things that need to be done, like house work, homework and my real work.

What I need to know is how do you find balance?  Do you have a favorite day planner or any organization tips to help a busy mom out?  Here are a few things I'm trying out right now.

Cozi.com is a great online calendar and so much more.  You choose a family log in and share the calendar across the family.  You can choose who gets notifications, do meal planning and create a family journal.  Even my hubby says this helps us stay on track

Flylady.net is an awesome website who helps us all stay on track with all our chores!

Organizeher by Mead has GREAT planners and they have links to even MORE printable pages online for those obsessive list makers like myself

Little bit of life

This weekend has been a pretty quite weekend for my family.  We are getting ready for a busy weekend next week for my sweet baby,Jack's, 5th birthday. Ok, I admit, he is not a baby! I'm not really sure where life has gone, but it sure has gone by fast!

So much of the past few years are nothing but a BLUR. I hope that this blog can allow me to share my passions with you while also cataloging the many things I love and help me remember those moments!
